Legal Practitioner (4 posts)
NCC Legal Department is looking to recruit 2 Legal Practitioners to support NCC Solicitors in the conduct of legal proceedings. Candidates will support solicitors in a number of ways including assisting in the overall management and administration of cases through to conclusion. This will include, amongst other things, drafting and preparing correspondence for court, taking of witness statements, attendance at court, following up on outstanding matters with departments and/or 3rd parties. Support may be provided across a broad spectrum of specialisms including civil and child care. Suitable candidates must have:-
- Good understanding and awareness of IT.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- An ability to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure
- An enthusiasm for what they do and a willingness to contribute towards ongoing change.
- An ability to work well with others – good team skills
- Law degree or similar desirable.
- Previous work experience in a legal practice desirable
