Grade 3 or 4 based on experience

Due to the high proportion of children requiring additional support in KS1 we are needing to recruit further support to work within the existing large staff team. We are ideally looking for one person who can work across the week but it may be possible to split the hours. If you are interested please visit and this can be discussed. The person appointed ideally will have experience of supporting children with high levels of additional needs in particular supporting pupils managing their emotions and feelings. We can offer a friendly, supportive team of staff and professional development opportunities.

We would expect you to:

  • have experience of supporting pupils with high levels of additional needs
  • have a commitment to helping children achieve
  • be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances
  • be patient and calm
  • have excellent communication skills
  • be enthusiastic, with a positive attitude
  • have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour
  • be a good team player

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed by appointment with the Head Teacher.
