The Governors of Willow Brook Primary School are looking to appoint a dynamic Teaching Assistant and PE Play Leader who is positive and committed to adding excellence and creativity to our hardworking team. 

Our new Teaching Assistant will: 

  • supervise and provide support for pupils, including those with special needs, to access learning activities; 
  • provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement 
  • promote good behaviour in line with the school behaviour policy; 
  • assist with the planning of learning activities for small groups; 
  • be able to work as part of our committed team; 
  • uphold and embody our school values. 

As a PE Play Leader they will: 

  • plan and deliver a range of play activities during lunch times to encourage/facilitate

play across the full age range of children;      

  • plan and deliver gross motor skills sessions to an identified group of children; 
  • monitor playground behaviour in line with our behaviour policy. 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Professional qualifications are desirable 
  • Coaching and play qualifications are desirable
