Teaching Assistant – SEN (Maternity Cover)

Yeoman Primary Academy is a SEN school for pupils aged 3-19 years, whom have moderate/severe and complex learning difficulties, predominantly Autism spectrum Disorder (ASD). The school converted to an Academy on 1st October when we joined the Diverse Academies Learning Partnership (DALP).

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within Yeoman Primary Academy on a temporary contract to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate must be flexible and able to work throughout school. You must be qualified in a relevant childcare qualification to at least NNEB, NVQ3 (or equivalent.). Previous experience of working within SEN is desirable. The Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check and satisfactory Medical.
