CLASS TEACHER
Yeoman Park is an outstanding school for pupils with severe (SLD), profound (PMLD) and complex (ASD) learning difficulties school aged 3-19. The school provides a stimulating, challenging and safe learning environment where individuals are valued and nurtured.
We are looking to appoint an outstanding, creative and committed teacher to facilitate and deliver a relevant and meaningful curriculum, including the National Curriculum, to a group of enthusiastic Key stage 3 learners with SLD and ASD.
Qualified teacher status and some experience of teaching SEND in a special school environment would be desirable.
The post holder will be expected to work with colleagues to development the curriculum and support new and exciting initiatives. A good knowledge and understanding of the teaching of English to pupils with learning difficulties would be an advantage but we would consider strengths in any other areas of the curriculum.
