Fixed Term Part Time Library Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Mansfield Central Library, with a part-time Library Assistant post. Our staff are core to our success; to work for Inspire is to work for a charity, membership body and social enterprise. We aim to be professional, friendly and customer focused.

As a Library Assistant, you must have experience of working with the public and as part of a team, provide consistent levels of high quality customer service and be committed to participating in library promotional events and activities. An interest in public libraries and the services they provide is an essential requirement of the post. You will have good computer skills and should be able to use ICT competently. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to treat all customers with fairness and respect.

The timetable is worked over a five-week rota and includes some weekends. Flexibility to work additional or different hours on an occasional basis is essential.
