Chuter Ede Primary School is an outstanding school located at Balderton Newark across two sites. The school currently has 630 pupils on roll.

We are a well established and oversubscribed school with an excellent reputation within the County.

The governors of this friendly, hardworking and caring school are looking to appoint a dynamic, well organised flexible and reliable person who has the initiative to work independently to provide clerical, secretarial and administrative work alongside our office manager.

The post holder will be expected to use the Authority’s standard computer hardware and software packages where appropriate.

General duties will include:

Administration- recording and managing pupil attendance, managing pupil admissions and accurately maintaining the pupil related information system using SIMS. Collect information and collate it for the whole school. To prepare and process orders, keep the school inventory record up to date and report to governors. To undertake cash collection duties including the recording of all school dinner monies received and balanced and resolving routine anomalies.

Clerical- dealing with photocopying, typing etc. Provide reprographic and filing support for staff. Produce reports, letters, newsletters under the direction of the head teacher. Supporting the running of after school clubs, school events, trips and residential visits.

Front Desk- Dealing with parents, visitors, phone calls etc. Updating the school website.

As well as good ICT and communication skills, this job requires good numeracy and literacy skills – equivalent to GCSE Grade C
