Join our day service teams across the county which provide a valuable resource for adults with many different support needs, including older people, people living with dementia, adults with learning disability and/or autism, brain injury, mental health support needs and long-term complex health conditions.

We are looking for people who enjoy working in a busy environment, as part of a team and can work on their own initiative and are able to communicate at all levels. Working with a friendly, flexible, and can-do attitude is essential to meet the needs of the service. An ability to show dignity and respect and be sensitive to the needs of the people who use our services is essential

You will assist in the provision of a quality catering service in our buildings. This will include the preparation of a variety of hot and cold food and beverages including the provision of specialist dietary needs within a defined budget. You will work closely with the Caterer and be able to take responsibility for the catering service in their absence.

You will also be responsible for ensuring high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and safety within the kitchens and adhering to the Safer Food, Better Business food policy. A willingness to undertake relevant training is essential and a full uniform will be provided.
