From January 2023 or as soon as possible, we are looking for an excellent, motivated and innovative learning assistant to join our wonderful team.

Radcliffe on Trent Infant and Nursery school is a welcoming and inclusive school with a strong nurturing ethos. We have high expectations of pupil progress and behaviour and are ambitious for all our staff and children.

At Radcliffe Infants, we are committed to a child-centred approach and are developing a well-resourced, inspiring learning environment that develops children as independent learners. Our established curriculum develops the whole child, learning behaviours and wellbeing alongside academic progress.

You will be expected to have a flexible and creative approach to situations, be a great team member and communicator, but above all have a passion in supporting the wellbeing and development of all our children.

We are looking for someone who:
•    Embraces our vision ‘Learn, Grow, Achieve Together’ and our Rainbow Values and would work dedicatedly to help all children achieve this
•    Delights in being with children, especially at the start of their educational journey, and puts the children’s whole development at the heart of their practice
•    Can effectively deliver 1 to 1 and small group interventions in key areas such as phonic and maths. Experience ideal but not essential as training will be provided.
•    Has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
•    Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents
•    Ability to work as team and use their initiative
•    Be able to demonstrate effective behavioural management
•    Is hardworking, has positive energy and knows how to have fun!
