We are looking for an excellent, motivated and innovative learning assistant to join our wonderful team as soon as possible due to the increase in our Nursery numbers in January.

You will be expected to have a flexible and creative approach to situations, be a great team member and communicator, but above all have a passion in supporting the wellbeing and development of all our children.

We are looking for:
A dynamic and creative Early Years practitioner to join our highly effective nursery team who can evidence a proven record of implementing the early years curriculum.
•    As a key member of the nursery team this will involve working 1:1 and in small group basis with children with additional needs (Autistic Spectrum Condition) to deliver a bespoke curriculum to ensure learning outcomes are supported and achieved alongside peers. 
•    A teaching assistant who is committed to inclusion, who believes all children can achieve.
•    This role will involve providing daily personal and intimate care and the development of toileting programs.
•    This post will also require some manual handling and physical assistance to help support pupils. 
•    Someone who is willing to be trained in Makaton or who already has prior knowledge of Makaton and who can facilitate a bespoke speech and language programs and to use a range of visual and online strategies to enhance communication and interaction in the setting.
•    Prior experience of working with children with Autistic Spectrum Condition is desirable but not necessary.
•    Someone who is confident and has a positive attitude even during some challenging moments.
•    Someone able to liaise with class teacher, outside agencies and parents to help develop individual education plans and contribute to educational reviews.
•    Someone who will use initiative to support and facilitate individual learning needs to ensure rapid progress
•    Someone who supports our beliefs that core values, and our own school Rainbow Values should underpin all we do and are at the heart of all aspects of school.
•    Someone with a relevant level 3 Early Years qualification.
