Can you deliver business analysis to enable us to plan the best possible, cost-effective services for local people?

We’re developing a hub for business intelligence and require an innovative analyst to join our Performance, Intelligence and Policy team on a 12 month contract.

In this role you will support a number of key services to plan and manage the effective delivery of their outcomes. With your experience of performance and business analysis you will support managers to develop appropriate metrics to manage the quality of their services and to plan, forecast and evaluate the effectiveness of their actions. You will also use your range of analytical skills to support our managers to identify and assess their pressures and risks.

You will be able to demonstrate persuasive communication skills to convey complex data-derived business needs and risks, with excellent ICT skills in the use of analytical tools.

Experience analysing social care would be beneficial, but not essential for this position. Experience from complementary roles in business or benefit analysis, commissioning, contract management or business process engineering would also be beneficial in undertaking this role.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
