Nottinghamshire County Council in conjunction with Dean Hole C of E Primary School in Caunton are looking to recruit a Cleaner in Charge. The post will be considered for a 4 hour am 5.00am to 9.00am shift or 4.00pm to 8.00pm shift. The post is also one of lone working.

The school is set outside of Newark in a rural village, so your own form of transport will be necessary, if you do not live locally to the school.

You will be a key holder so will be expected to attend emergencies on site and be responsible for unlocking and securing the site daily. You will be expected to deliver the full range of cleaning duties to the whole site along with janitorial duties, minor maintenance and compliance checks inside the site. Litter picking and gritting in the winter months outside will be required for the benefit of pupils, parents and staff.

Dean Hole C of E Primary School is a high achieving friendly school and is keen to enhance its reputation in the wider community. A clean and tidy school inside and out is essential for this, and we wish to appoint someone who will develop an attachment to the school and take a pride in its appearance. Being able to use their own intuitive & be a good team player. You should have a keen eye for detail, be smart in appearance (wearing a provided uniform) and need to be flexible in your approach to lettings, for which additional payments will be made.
