A number of posts within the Property & Estates team at Nottinghamshire County Council are ready to be filled. The team is going through a period of exciting change, with more opportunities than ever before. If you think the job is for you, we would welcome your application.

The role requires you to provide a general property service across the Council’s varied property portfolio, including lettings, acquisitions and disposals, rating and valuations and provide a complete landlord and tenant service.

The key objectives are the maximisation of income and minimising property costs. You will need to be able to demonstrate good negotiating skills and be able to prepare detailed terms and have a knowledge of the legal documentation of property contracts.

A qualification in Estates & Property Management would be an advantage, ideally with membership to a professional body or demonstrate significant experience of working in a commercial property management environment. Good literary, numeracy and communication skills are essential.

We can offer you a number of benefits such as support with your own personal development, childcare voucher scheme, generous annual leave entitlement, local government pension scheme and flexible working arrangements.

For an informal discussion on the role please contact Mona Walsh, Team Manager Property and Estates, on 0115 8043286.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.

Nottinghamshire County Council strives to ensure that it goes beyond the requirements of the Equalities Act and prides itself on being accredited as a Disability Confident Leader Organisation.

Therefore, the County Council encourages applications from all, irrespective of gender, marital status, disability, race, religion, belief, pregnancy and maternity status, age or sexual orientation.
