£14,975 - £16,191 p.a. (£7.76 - £8.39 per hour): A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to £8.45 per hour.

Building Cleaning Service in conjunction with Westadle Infant School, Mapperley requires a new Caretaker, Working a 37 hour week you will be required to clean and maintain the building and offer a range of caretaking services for the benefit of pupils, parents and staff.

We are therefore looking for someone who can join our fantastic team and students.

Working a split shift you will be a key holder and will be expected to deliver the full range of caretaking, maintenance, janitorial and cleaning duties, with responsibility for securing the site. You should have a keen eye for detail and be able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of DIY skills.

You will need to be smart in appearance, wearing a provided uniform and need to be flexible in your approach to lettings, for which additional payments will be made. We would want you to work positively with staff and parents and be a good team worker.

Previous experience of this type of work would be advantageous but ideally we are looking for someone with interest and a high degree of commitment to ensure a safe and healthy environment for staff, children and visitors to the school.
