An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Governance Specialist to support the work of the Governance and Standards Team to provide comprehensive, efficient and high-quality financial and statistical analysis to enable informed decision making by our senior management team; ensuring compliance to mandatory and statutory requirements.

You will be expected to:

  • Improve, execute, and effectively communicate significant analyses that identify meaningful trends and opportunities across the business
  • Participate in regular meetings with management, assessing and addressing issues to identify and implement improvements toward efficient operations
  • Provide strong and timely financial and business analytic decision support to ICT Senior Management Team
  • Comply with all statutory and mandatory legislation 
  • Manage stakeholder relationships effectively.

About You

You will be an experienced business service analyst/administrator, ideally with extensive experience in the use of business tools and relevant qualifications with a demonstrable track record of the ability to assimilate and interpret complex and large volumes of data to provide clear advice to all levels within the service. You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving experience, balanced with good written and oral communication skills. You will have an attention to detail with the ability to recognise the confidentiality and sensitivity of the information you have access to and ensure the safeguarding of this information. You will have the ability to build and maintain productive relationships, anticipating challenges, managing and mitigating them. You understand risk management, can juggle priorities and know how to balance customer demand and partner needs in order to secure the best service outcomes for all. Our ideal candidate is comfortable working with all levels of management to gain an in-depth understanding of our strategy and services.
