An Opportunity to be involved in a major new initiative:

The Workforce Planning and Organisational Development team support the delivery of the Council’s overall strategic workforce priorities, as set out in its Workforce Strategy.

A key part of our work which currently involves responsibility for the Councils work based learning programmes will be impacted on by the introduction of the new National Apprentice Levy from 1st April 2017 and we are seeking two Business Partners to support the effective implementation of the Levy across the Council and its maintained schools.

You will have proven experience of contributing to the delivery of significant projects in large organisations, including building effective working relationships with key stakeholders and partners, the management and monitoring of associated budgets and producing and analysing performance data.

As the role will also require you to manage an online accounting system, you should be experienced in the use of digital systems.
