Business Development Officer

Minimum 30 per week

Citizens Advice Ashfield has a strong history of delivering a high quality advice and information service to the people of Ashfield. To build on this success, we have a fantastic new opportunity for an energetic, creative and determined Business Development Officer to join our senior management team.

We are looking for a positive and results driven individual with an impressive track record in sales, fundraising, marketing or business development either in the commercial or charity sector. You will be a self-starter with the ability to attract new funding and income streams. Using your excellent networking skills and entrepreneurial flair you will identify new business opportunities by building productive relationships.

You will take responsibility for winning new business through producing and managing bids and contract tenders, securing income from corporate sponsors as well as trusts and foundations. You will be instrumental in maintaining and diversifying our funding base, developing proposals and leading pitching opportunities.

This is a one year fixed term contract with possible extension depending on funding outcomes.
