Examination Invigilators / Typists

We are seeking to recruit new Examination Invigilators (casual hours) to work with the existing team in the effective supervision of all examinations at the academy in a calm, friendly but authoritative manner.  This role may also include scribing or reading for students who have qualified for access arrangements because of special educational needs and disabilities, therefore, strong literacy skills are required.  

We are also looking to employ some staff that have excellent typing skills so can provide one to one scribe support to students, so anyone who has typing skills would be encouraged to apply.

The post would be ideally suited to applicants who feel a sense of responsibility for today’s young people and who are able to work flexible daytime hours, sometimes at short notice.

Previous experience would be an advantage but full training will be provided and working hours will be negotiated for each exam period.
