£7.52 - £7.66 per hour: A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to £8.45 per hour

The Catering & Facilities Management Service are seeking to employ a cleaner at the Retford Town Hall site to further enhance the cleaning standard of the site with immediate effect. The successful candidate will be required to work between the hours:- 7am – 9.30am .Monday to Friday and the successful candidates will be responsible for the cleanliness of a designated cleaning area within the site. Duties will include: Vacuuming, Washroom Cleaning, Sweeping, Mopping, Dusting, Wash of furniture and Window Cleaning. (Occasional use of electrical clean machinery i.e. Buffing Machine and Wet Pick Up).

We are therefore looking for candidates who enjoy working in a busy environment as part of a team of staff and able to communicate at all levels between departments. A keen eye for detail and quality cleaning are two essential requirements. Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Although the successful candidate will play a vital role within the building maintaining the high standards of cleanliness within this prestigious and historic building candidates must be aware that this post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the site.
