£7.30 - £8.26 per hour: A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £ 8.25 per hour, the maximum rate of pay is £8.26 per hour

The Facilities Management Service in conjunction with the schools Governing Body are seeking to employ a permanent Caretaker to undertake the day to day maintenance and cleanliness of the site with immediate effect.

The School, which is situated in the heart of Ranby Village is of modern construction and maintained to a very high standard of decoration and is situated very close to both Worksop and Retford. Ranby CE Primary School prides itself on delivering a high standards of quality education to children aged between 3 & 11 and we invite you to come and join our team.

As the post demands the successful candidate will be required to be the main key holder of the site and will have overall responsibility for looking after both the cleanliness and janitorial aspects of the building on a day to day basis. Cleaning the site to a high standard ensures we continue to provide an environment conducive to the delivery of education of our pupils. It is essential that the successful candidate has a keen eye for detail as we will expect a high level of presentation of both the interior and exterior parts of the building.

You will be required to work a split shift operation between the hours of 6.30am – 8.30am and 4pm – 6pm Monday to Friday and the successful candidate will be responsible for the total cleanliness of the site.

You will be required to undergo the DBS process which will be at an enhanced level. Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. This post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the site, working closely with staff.
