Teaching Assistant

To start Monday 4th September 2023 (it is anticipated that the maternity cover will be for the majority of the 2023-2024 academic year, terminating on or before 12th July 2024).

We wish to appoint a temporary part time Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, talented and enthusiastic team of staff. We are looking for a member of staff to support children in Key Stage 1 (in particular), working with Class Teachers to reach high standards of learning and achievement. The successful candidates must be qualified to at least NVQ3 or equivalent and their qualification must be recognised as a ‘full and relevant’ Early Years qualification. We are looking for a well-motivated Teaching Assistant who can be confident in supporting and challenging children in the early stages of their primary education and the post is expected to initially be in Year 1/2.
