Kinoulton Primary School are seeking to appoint a Grade 1 classroom assistant and midday supervisor to join our happy, friendly school to start on 4th September 2023. This is a permanent, term time only, post combining the two roles: 

• Classroom assistant, initially in KS2, working mornings only.  

• Midday supervisor as part of our lunchtime team.

The post will be for 22.5 hours a week and the work pattern will be as follows:

Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 12.00pm (classroom assistant)  12.00pm to 1.30pm (midday supervisor)

The successful candidate will work in KS2 initially, but this may change in the future based on the needs of the children in school.

As a classroom assistant you will be responsible for supervising groups of children under the direction of the class teacher. You may also be required to provide support for tasks such as photocopying and setting out/tidying away equipment and resources. You will also support the class teacher in creating and maintaining a clean and orderly learning and teaching environment.

As a midday supervisor, you will join our dedicated lunchtime team and will be assigned duties including supervising indoor and outdoor lunchtime provision and helping during the lunchtime meal sittings. Ideally we want someone who is keen to interact with the children and will be proactive in leading activities and games.
