Leadership scale

The Governors of St Wilfrid’s Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher to commence work from the beginning of the Spring Term 2022.

We are looking for a highly committed, talented and creative leader who is dedicated to providing the best possible education for our pupils. An outstanding teacher, the successful candidate will achieve excellent standards of attainment through providing an exciting, creative and stimulating curriculum.

Whilst the exact responsibilities of the role will be defined upon appointment, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate success in leading whole school or key stage improvement initiatives.
We would be very keen to hear from practitioners with expertise in either Early Years / Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2.

St Wilfrid’s Primary School is an exciting place to teach and learn. Our outgoing, confident and talented pupils are a pleasure to teach. Our most recent OFSTED inspection, graded good (March 2019), praised many aspects of our provision, and made reference to our pupils who ‘flourish both socially and academically and are a credit to the school’. Our most recent SIAMS inspection (graded outstanding) recognised the outstanding relationships that exist across school.

We are fortunate that our school is set within extensive grounds with excellent facilities both inside and out, and enjoys outstanding links with the local community. Please do get in touch with the school to discuss this opportunity further and to arrange a visit.

Application forms and further details are available from the above address, by telephoning 0115 965 2775 or emailing the school office head@st-wilfrids.notts.sch.uk
