Nottinghamshire County Council Building Cleaning Service, are recruiting a Mobile Caretaker.  The Mobile Caretaker post will be to provide cover to a wide range of sites all across the Mansfield area. The sites we maintain in the Mansfield area include schools, college, office buildings, registrar office, children's centres and a transport interchange. Due to the location of some sites access to your own transport is required, a mileage allowance is paid for the use of this transport.

The duties of the Mobile Caretaker include, cleaning of a site or overseeing the cleaning of the building, maintenance the building, offering help/advice to the public if needed (at the transport interchange) and also offering a range of caretaking services for the benefit of pupils, parents and staff. Working 37 per week, normally on a split shift working arrangement. The working hours may occasionally include weekend working (enhancements for weekend/unsociable hours working will be paid) with also occasional early morning start or a late finish time. This role also involves been a key holder with responsibility for the opening the site on a morning and securing the site at the end of the day.

Previous experience of this type of work would be advantageous, however training will also be provided.
