The Catering & Facilities Management Service is looking to employ a cleaner for 12.50 hour per week, at Muskham Primary School, to further enhance the cleaning standards within the site with immediate effect.

Muskham Primary School, is located in the village of North Muskham, some 4 miles North of Newark, just off the A1.

You will be required to work between the hours of either 6.00am to 8.30am or 3.30pm to 6.00pm  Monday to Friday during term time. Please note that there is also an additional 5 weeks deep clean that is done in the school holiday periods, the working times for these weeks may be subject to change.

We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working in a busy environment, as part of a team of staff and who are able to communicate at all levels.

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Duties will include: vacuuming, washroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing of furniture, window cleaning and occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. buffing machine and wet pick-ups.

You will play a vital role as part of a small team of cleaning staff, however, this post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the site. Protective clothing and other PPE will be provided as required.
