Residential Care Worker
Caudwell house in Southwell is a home for children with physical disabilities and health needs. It provides a service for children on a residential and short break basis and has been awarded outstanding by Ofsted since 2011.
The post requires you to offer the highest level of physical and emotional care, interact positively with the children, enable them to have a voice, contribute to a positive environment, including the provision of play and leisure activities, and to ensure the best outcomes for children enabling them to reach their full potential.
You will be required to perform personal and intimate care tasks and health procedures and will be given training to enable you to do this confidently and competently.
You are required to work evenings and 2 out of 3 weekends in addition to some bank holidays and additional pay is given for this.
