This is a wonderful opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about making a positive difference to the Health and Wellbeing of the people of Nottinghamshire. You will join an aspiring and innovative team which makes positive impacts on the outcomes of people’s health and wellbeing.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic officer who is experienced in project management working jointly to achieve shared outcomes in a continually changing environment.

You will need to have the ability to raise the profile of this area of work and develop good influencing  relationships with a variety of colleagues and organisations including local district and borough councils, CCG’s, health, education, housing and social care colleagues. Good communication and interpersonal skills are all essential for this fast moving position as well as the ability to analyse issues and problems and work towards solutions to specific tight deadlines. An understanding of the different Public Health agendas would be advantageous.

This opportunity is offered on a temporary 24-month basis. Secondments will be considered – prior approval will be required by your current manager.

The post will be primarily based at County Hall, Nottingham, but with the option to work flexibly with an alternative base at Meadow House in Mansfield, Notts.

Nottinghamshire County Council has a NHS Pension Direction Order in place, which means that we are able to provide ongoing access to the NHS Pension Scheme (NHSPS) where we recruit eligible new joiners to public health roles who are already in the NHSPS.
