Senior Nursery Assistant

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nursery nurse to take on a supervisor position in a small friendly rural setting. 

You must love children and be committed to providing them with the very best care and learning opportunities. Our nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all of our children and staff and we expect all staff to share this commitment. You must have a sound knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding, be willing and able to attend training sessions away from the setting when required. 

Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, provide a positive practical role model and contribute to a high standard of quality within the nursery. Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, colleagues and visitors. Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with colleagues, parents and carers. Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained. Be able to organised a small team to ensure the nursery is a safe clean and secure environment. This senior role is based in the nursery working with children but has some administrative duties in addition to the usual paperwork involved as a key worker. 

The successful candidate will need to have a full and enhanced DBS check as well as at least 2 references.
