£16,755 - £17,391 p.a. A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £9.00 per hour, the maximum rate of pay is £9.01 per hour.

Permanent and part-time posts available. All posts may be subject to 7 day working in the future if required.

These posts are exciting opportunities to be part of the Short Term Assessment & Reablement Team (START) who provide short-term support to people living in their own homes. It is an important role in the day to day running of the service which operates a 365 days a year from 7am to 10pm, on a 4 days on/4 days off rolling shift pattern. This includes regular weekend, days, evenings, Bank Holiday and split shift working patterns, depending on contracted hours.

About you

You will be flexible and able to work well alone and as part of a team, to support and assist people over the age of 18 while they increase their confidence and independence in all aspects of personal care and daily living tasks. You will have the ability to work with a variety of staff including occupational therapists and community care officers to ensure individuals are given the chance to live as best they can. You will need to have a full driving licence and access to a car for which mileage will be paid. Experience in social care is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
