Head of Communications

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and ambitious communications professional to provide strategic advice and lead the Council’s Communications and Marketing functions to deliver our ambitious plans and vision for the County.
You will be responsible for improving engagement with local residents and satisfaction with Council services and manage the Council’s reputation at a local, regional and national level.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be responsible for devising and delivering the council’s communications strategy, leading on creative campaigns and enhancing the image of the council by improving brand awareness. We are looking for an individual who is able to operate successfully in a politically sensitive environment.
