Nottinghamshire Youth Justice are looking to recruit casual Youth mentors. This is a flexible post working in three hours sessions as part of the Nottinghamshire Youth Justice service, providing one-to-one mentoring and small group to young people who have been identified as needing early intervention to divert them away from offending.
This is a great opportunity to contribute towards the overarching aim of reducing risk of offending for young people and crime in the local community. We are looking for somebody with Youth Work experience, but it is not essential. You will need to have a passion to work with young people to reduce their risk of involvement with offending, violence, exploitation and to provide early intervention for young people to help divert them away from offending.
