In Nottinghamshire we are focused on Strength based practice that build relationships, and support change for families, and promotes children’s and adults’ wellbeing and development. We believe we can achieve this by working with families and children openly and collaboratively. You will carry out children’s and adult safeguarding enquires, support the work of others involved in these enquiries, and to support people with care and support needs to develop and put in action safeguarding plans appropriate to their wishes and circumstances.

Our Emergency Duty Team are looking for a social worker with extensive experience of working with children, adult and families, supported with a wide knowledge of children and adult legislation and statuary requirements, which will also include mental health and child protection (AMPH qualified would be a benefit).

You will be required to work shifts that are out of hours, evenings and weekends and some overnight (stand by) shifts.
