The Customer Service Centre is the first point of contact for Nottinghamshire County Council and the Centre provides first class customer service and enquiry resolution at first point of contact for over 400 council services across all channels, telephone, face to face, email, SMS, etc. Services range from detailed triaging of social care enquiries, information gathering, through to bookings, payments, fault reporting, to blue badge and concessionary bus pass processing, as well as many, many more council services.

You will be joining a very successful, dynamic and dedicated customer focused team.  You will be building on our excellent reputation for exceptional customer service with very high standards, building on our recruitment training and induction planning, you will deliver a great positive and supporting learning experience every time that you train.

This is a significant role, shaping, developing, building and administering training and induction programmes for new and existing Customer Service colleagues, including social care and transactional advisors to help individuals and groups shape and develop their skills and knowledge in order to fulfil their duties and to continuously grow and improve. You will work with our Design, Build and Management Teams to oversee forecasting and scheduling training demands and trends, ensuring that it fits with our operational resource and customer demand.

You will be delivering training across a range of channels, face to face, virtual, e-learning, videos, pod casts and webinars as well as assessing all training delivered against established success criteria.
