We are looking to recruit a Programme Officer, with experience of change management and resource planning within large complex organisations.

The role will work alongside a Project Manager to undertake a review of the current Adult Social Care operational workforce, initially focussing on the Team Manager Role, identifying areas to relieve pressure and free up capacity, but also working with key partners to assess if the current structure is fit for the future.

We are looking for someone with a successful track record of working on change projects within a fast paced environment and strong planning, interpersonal and communication skills. Experience of analysing and interpreting data and complex issues is required, as is the ability to build strong working relationships. Preferably the candidate will have knowledge of Adult Social Care.

Undertaking this role will contribute to the Adult Social Care Departments aim of Promoting Independence by ensuring resources and efforts are focussed in the most appropriate place.

For informal discussions about the role please contact Ben Taylor, Project Manager on 0115 9774726.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
