We are seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our team from 1st April 2020 to work alongside the current post-holder. The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working in educational settings and with young people, as well as a working knowledge and understanding of online safety and effective anti-bullying practices.

Working across the county but acting as locality lead for Ashfield and Mansfield, you will jointly lead the team’s work in schools and with other partners relating to the online and anti-bullying specialisms. The ideal candidate will also have some awareness of the proposed changes to the Relationships, Sex and Health Education curriculum and the team’s wider work and be able to work across phase.

The day to day duties will involve some office-based tasks including the quality assurance of policies, resources/lesson plans, as well as visits to schools to review practice. You will also be required to develop and deliver training, offer guidance and consultations to school staff and other professionals, as well as respond to Ofsted qualifying complaints. You will work mostly independently, although much of your time will be spent working in partnership with others, including schools. Creativity and a solution-focused approach is a necessity as co-production is central to the team’s work.
