Due to retirement an exciting opportunity has arisen in the Living Well Rushcliffe Multi-Specialist team for a Social Worker. We are seeking to recruit a committed, well organised and motivated individual to join our busy team.

You should hold a social work qualification, be registered with Social work England and have experience of working with Adults with Learning disabilities and Mental Health conditions.

You should have experience of case management, working with complex cases, working has part of a team but also able to use their own initiative, completing safeguarding investigations and able to formulate reports using Nottinghamshire County Council’s computer system, therefore good IT skills are also essential.

Additionally, you will carry out Care and Support Assessments for adults with Learning disabilities with the aim of enabling them to maintain their independence. You will work flexibly to commission services and provide advice and support to carers. You will be carrying out reviews, carer’s assessments and also cover duty alongside a friendly and experienced team of social workers.

You will be provided with a comprehensive induction programme, training, and other developmental opportunities to enable them to complete their role and continued professional development.
