The Quality and Market Management Team (Adult Social Care) is a well-established and busy team that works with internal and external social care providers. This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced team which has responsibility for over 400 social care services in Nottinghamshire.

We are recruiting to a Quality and Contracts Officer (QCO) post in the team and this post will lead on Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) function which is used to procure Living Well (under 65) placements in residential care settings.

This post will have specific responsibility in developing and maintaining contract management systems and identify opportunities to improve these. It is expected that this post will support identified commissioning activities including:

  • Undertaking analysis work incorporating qualitative and quantitative data, good practice and horizon scanning
  • Supporting the delivery of engagement with providers

The post will require good communication and IT skills to support the DPS function and will be working closely with commissioning and operational colleagues and providers to make appropriate care home placements.
