We are a 2 form entry Infant school and we also have a school nursery where children join us at 3 years old. Our school environment is exceptional and so is the education we provide. Our site is a really special place for children to play, interact and explore – we have a large outdoor EYFS play area, a mix of playground and grass/woodland, growing areas, outdoor classroom areas and even a double decker library bus for all our year groups to enjoy!

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced teacher who will have the ability to inspire and provide the very best learning opportunities for our children.

We are looking for someone who:

• has experience of supporting and developing the practice of NQTs/RQTs and can work collaboratively with others

• has an excellent track record in teaching ensuring all children make excellent progress

• loves working with children and is passionate about teaching and providing hands on quality learning experiences for them 

• has a ‘can do’ positive attitude and enthusiasm for the role

• provides clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivation and challenge at all times 

• has an excellent knowledge of the KS1/EYFS curriculum and a strong vision for KS1 and early years education

• is an outstanding practitioner who delivers stimulating and exciting learning opportunities for our children every day

• isn’t scared of trying new things to inspire learning and adapt practice to meet the varying needs of children, maximising on learning time

• has exceptional communication skills and works in partnership with parents/carers, always going the extra mile to create excellent relationships

• has high standards in all that they do and has high expectations and aspirations of children

• can contribute to the wider life of school and is willing to be a real part of our school community

• is hard working, has energy and uuummpph!
