Beeston Fields is a forward thinking school who are proud to part of the Flying High Partnership. Our current Foundation Stage Leader has had a huge impact on standards and expectations since taking on the role in 2019 and we are looking for someone who can continue to implement the high quality provision and continue the upward trajectory of our Early Years unit while she is on maternity leave. This Foundation Stage Phase Leader role is your chance to join Beeston Fields Primary and the Flying High Trust for an initial maternity cover period of a year.

As Foundation Stage Phase leader you will leading our dedicated, friendly, hard-working team. We are looking for someone with a clear understanding of EYFS pedagogy to ensure our children make maximum progress and are ready for the next stage of their education. You will also promote the vision, culture and ethos of the school.  You will be responsible for sharing key messages with staff, provide guidance and support and ensure that the staff voice is heard.  

There will also be the responsibility of leading a key area of school development/curriculum area.

There is such a positive atmosphere around school with strong backing from leadership and support staff.  Children love being in school, this is evident in the pride they show consistently in and around school.  CPD is encouraged and supported for all staff – this ensures that everyone gets the chance to develop or learn something new.
