Are you passionate about improving health and reducing health inequalities across Nottinghamshire?

Are you a system leader looking to further embed prevention and health equity across the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System (ICS)?

Would you like an opportunity to support a UKPHR portfolio registration?

We are looking for a driven, collaborative, system leader to help develop and shape the healthcare public health function within the broader Nottinghamshire County Council Public Health Team.

This Group Manager – Senior Public Health and Commissioning Manager post will build and grow the technical and strategic public health leadership across the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICS, and support implementation of the Nottinghamshire Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2022-2026 and initial Integrated Care Strategy. Key areas of focus include secondary prevention for long term conditions, population health management and reducing health inequalities across the system. A strong background in analysing complex data and evidence, working with clinicians, leading change across health and local authority boundaries and understanding the ICS would be advantageous.

This will be an excellent opportunity for a senior public health leader to develop their healthcare public health and system leadership skills in preparation for the UKPHR portfolio registration or Public Health Speciality Training Programme application. The successful candidate will be managed by the Deputy Director of Public Health and join a high performing, supportive team, organisation and ICS. To arrange an informal conversation about the role please contact Avril Sullivan on Avril.Sullivan@nottscc.gov.uk. We look forward to hearing from you.

Provisional interview date 22nd February 2023. TBC

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
