The Governing Body of St John the Baptist CofE Primary School are seeking to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our happy and friendly church school. The position will be required as soon as possible but a start date is negotiable for the suitable candidate. The role will include carrying out general office administration (including medicines), offering front of house cover and minute taking for the school governor committee meetings. The intended hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8am-4pm. The Governor meetings take place termly between 5-7pm so hours will be adjusted to accommodate when these take place.

Requirements of the post include:
•    An ‘I can’ attitude and positive mentality
•    Empathy with children and their families
•    A friendly, welcoming manner
•    Previous experience of working within an office environment and of minute taking.
•    Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages. Knowledge of school systems (SIMs, Teachers2Parents) is desirable however training can be given
