Albany Junior School are looking to appoint an efficient and friendly person to join the dedicated staff in our school.    

Our office staff work together to ensure the smooth running of the school on a daily basis, and provide a welcoming and efficient reception service to our parents, visitors, children and staff.

The successful candidate will be well organised, respect confidentiality and work under pressure as well as being able to use their own initiative, as and when required.

We would expect you to:
•    Maintain pupil attendance data, working with the Head teacher & Business Manager 
•    Ensure that all pupil data on SIMS is accurate and current
•    Maintain the online payment system
•    Organise school trips, photographs, after school clubs, dinners, registers etc
•    Deal with pupil admissions
•    Carry out general administrative duties – answer phones, deal with enquiries, host guests/visitors 
•    Other duties as directed by the Senior Leadership Team

We are looking for someone who can remain calm and cheerful in a busy environment and is able to prioritise work to ensure that the needs of our pupils and wider school community are met.

You will need excellent administrative, IT and communication skills and experience of SIMS would be an advantage. Previous school office experience is desirable.  

Applicants should possess GCSEs in English and Maths.
