We require a dynamic, skilled and highly motivated occupational Therapist to work within the Older Adults Community Team in Newark:

You will be expected to: -

  1. Manage a complex caseload including moving and handling and assist colleagues with safeguarding decision work. 
  2. Support managers to meet the departments’ performance and service delivery requirements, to manage systems effectively and to work positively within a culture of change.
  3. The ability to be resilient and effective in supporting staff and managers in the current challenging financial climate. 

Effective communication, organisational and IT skills are essential. You must also be able to work on your own initiative and meet deadlines whilst working under pressure, and have an awareness of and a commitment to Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety policy/procedures.

These posts carry an authorised car user allowance or taxi service for disabled employees. Appointments to these posts are subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring service check.

You can expect to receive regular supervision and to access professional development opportunities.

Applicants must have a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and be registered with the HCPC.
