We have an upcoming vacancy within our school for a suitably qualified and experienced Site Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a friendly, flexible, team player who really enjoys working with adults and children, has a high standard of workmanship, takes pride in their work and enjoys maintenance and repair.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Demonstrates accountability for ensuring they secure high quality support for school improvement.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, positive, well organised, flexible, an excellent communicator and possess the ability to work in close partnership with staff from across the school and wider collaboration as directed.

You will: 

  • Be responsible for the maintenance of the school and ensuring a safe, clean, attractive and secure environment
  • Be a key holder and be expected to liaise effectively with staff and contractors
  • Be able to supervise and line manage other site staff including contract cleaners
  • Be responsible for the day to day safe running of the school site, ensuring that deadlines are met and planning for the regular cycle of monthly/annual tasks
  • Be efficient, organised and capable
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humour, be approachable and personable
  • Have knowledge and experience of implementing all appropriate Health, Safety & Welfare requirements in a school
  • Possess competency in English, Maths and ICT skills
  • Experience of working in a primary school would be an advantage.
