£8.50 - £8.62 per hour. A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £9.00 per hour.

Nottinghamshire County Council Building Cleaning Services, is looking to employ a new 14.5 hour per week Cleaner at The Parkgate Academy.

The contract will be term time only with an additional 10 days per year deep clean, to be done in the school closure periods.

The successful candidate will work as part of a small team, to ensure that the school is cleaned to the highest standards. The hours will be between 3.00pm and 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for the cleanliness of a designated area within the School. Duties will include: vacuuming, washroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting and glass cleaning (occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. Buffing Machine and Wet Pick Up may be required).

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. This post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the site.
