£7.76 - £8.39 per hour: A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to £8.45 per hour

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Play for Disabled Children Team at Holiday Clubs around Nottinghamshire working 7 hours per day School Holidays, there are opportunities to work between 2 – 4 days a week at different locations.

Successful candidates will work within a specialist play setting alongside an experienced team providing and adapting play/youth opportunities to meet the requirements of disabled children and young people.

Play Support Workers require experience or training in play, childcare or equivalent.

Applicants need to be available to work regularly in Notts School. Holiday periods flexible, compassionate, have a willingness to learn/train outside of the core working hours, and be able to support and care for children/young people aged 5 – 17 years enabling them to access play and leisure activities.

Due to the nature of the work, applicants should be aged 18 or over .

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Successful applicants will also have the opportunity to join our bank of workers and access supply work to other partner projects. Disabled applicants who meet the essential short listing requirements will be guaranteed an interview.
