We are looking to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated Occupational Therapists to join our newly established Multi-Specialist Team based Meadow House, Mansfield.
You will be working with adults aged 18-64 who live in the Mansfield locality who have complex physical needs and long-term conditions. This can also include co-morbidities of learning disability, mental health diagnoses, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and substance misuse.
You will have the responsibility for the assessment and provision of a wide range of services, including: equipment, moving and handling, rehousing and major adaptations. You will also work in collaboration with our wider team, our local housing providers, equipment providers, our health colleagues and any other relevant agencies.
You will be fully supported to maintain your CPD portfolio and will have opportunities for ongoing professional and personal development. You will need good I.T. skills, and experience of working independently in the community and managing your own caseload. Knowledge of specialist equipment, DFG processes and complex moving & handling is desirable. Regular professional supervision will be provided.
