Teaching Assistant

East Leake Academy has an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our supportive SEND team in September 2020. The successful candidate will be part of a committed and knowledgeable inclusion team supporting a wide range of needs within the Academy.

You will be required to work term time only - Your working pattern can be discussed and agreed.

You will have:

• An NVQ 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent work experience
• Experience of working with or caring for children of a relevant age
• An understanding of how to support a wide range of additional needs
• The ability to relate well to children and adults
•  Commitment to protection and safeguarding of children and young people
