Energy Management Officer

To help the Council deliver cost reductions and environmental benefits you will be responsible for managing contracts, analysing energy use and financial data, and identifying and promoting investment opportunities in renewable energy and energy saving technologies.
You will need knowledge of energy efficiency and carbon reduction techniques, and have appropriate recent experience in one or more of the following: data management and analysis; contract management; renewable energy technologies; and building-related energy and carbon management.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a range of customers, partners and stakeholders to manage energy supplies and deliver improvements to the energy performance of Council buildings, including schools.
