The County Council Plan sets out a clear ambitious vision, where Nottinghamshire is a great place to raise a family, to grow a future, to start a business and enjoy later life.

We have an opportunity for a key role within that vision. You will provide the Client role supporting service departments and service users in the delivery of major capital projects to make Nottinghamshire that great place.

Joining a small, focussed team you'll provide a pro-active lead, commissioning projects through our delivery partners Arc Partnership and monitoring performance to ensure they are delivered on time, on budget and meet the needs of the service departments and service users

We’ll look to you to maintain a strong relationship with Arc, colleagues within the team and NCC Finance to manage overall programme budgets. We'll also look to you to demonstrate effective communication and perception skills at local, member and stakeholder levels

You will have a solid background in a property related background and have experience of financial planning and budget control.

Appointment to this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.

Nottinghamshire County Council strives to ensure that it goes beyond the requirements of the Equalities Act and prides itself on being accredited as a Disability Confident Leader Organisation.

Therefore, the County Council encourages applications from all, irrespective of gender, marital status, disability, race, religion, belief, pregnancy and maternity status, age or sexual orientation.
